Wrigley Neighborhood Protection Ordinance

In 2004, LVCC and the neighborhood branches worked with the Cubs and City Officials to create the Neighborhood Protection Ordinance.

This Ordinance has been functioning very effectively. The Cubs have gone over and above to ensure our neighborhood is clean and safe before, during and after Cubs games.

The Ordinance cannot be changed without a vote by the entire City Council. The Ordinance is in effect until December 31, 2015. Until then, we feel there is no reason to start renegotiating with the current Cub owners and then again perhaps with new owners after a sale.
