I love being able to read/post Cubs/Sox comments all in one place! Some good solid hate/ some love/ die hards.

You can go to any teams site or a fan site and you see all the 'I think this guy could be good' and it is usually just because they are a fan of the team and they want the guy to be good. So you never see/read anything negative (like White Sox Weekly) about any players.

I think this site is a refreshing change to see REAL comments/shots from both sides of town all in one! Vitriol! Gotta love it!

One day both sides of town will be good at the same time and this town will explode!

If it's the same thing I am thinking of it's basically the athletic department building a hotel and when you aren't there it is basically a hotel. They have something similar in vegas. I think the MGM Grand has a whole tower that you can book a room in but also has people who have that room guaranteed.

If you don't stay there, they try and rent the room out to someone else. It hasn't been built yet, but I'm interested to see what it's like. Anything that gives closer hotel accommodations to the stadium is good in my book.

I don't think anyone will be living there full time but I don't see why you couldn't.

There are plenty of Purdue alum that have enough money to afford it. I'm not one of them but maybe one day I will be.

I also think you are confused. Lafayette is a shithole. West Lafayette is similar to a standard suburban middle class town near Chicago.

This is BIG business in many college towns with limited hotel space and 50-100k stadium seating. Tennessee, South carolina, Notre Dame, Bama and many more.
