Vote for the All-Stars the Chicago way: early and often!

Awesome. The all star game needs someone who can't leg out doubles and drops pop ups.

I'm really surprised that he's first, but not as surprised as I was seeing that he was the NL Player of the week for May 19. I guess no one takes defense into consideration anymore.

Well if Griffey finishes 3rd they can put Fukudome in center to cover for him. I wonder if Clint Hurdle will risk hurting Soriano's feelings and not lead him off.

Soriano leading the voting? Well, like the season itself, too early to tell the final result.
He doesn't deserve it, that's for sure.

Perhaps since the game is being played in Yankee stadium, they will place Soriano in the DH position. That would solve the problem. The All-Star game is too often voten on by people who really don't focus on the current level of play, but by the body of work, that players have put together. Lee, Ramirez, Fukudome, Zambrano, Soto, Marmol, and Dempster, may all be chosen. It's nice to have so many players playing at a level that deserves consideration.

Good. I want Soriano to start the All Star game.

Him being there will better the Sox chances of getting home field advantage for the World Series.

Will the fans at the All Star game be able to heckle him?

Yes, as long the other players get permission to call the official scorer to complain about errors.

Well as of today Soto, Soriano, and Fukudome are still leading. Lee, DeRosa, and A-Ram are 2nd at their positions and Theriot is in 3rd. Doubt any of them will come close to Berkman, Utley, Chipper, and Tejada though.

No way Chipper doesn't make it, even though I voted for Ramirez multiple times...
