I thought about getting tickets, but knowing my luck they will have the roof open and the game will get rained out or some shit.

Were tix always that expensive in Milwaukee? 60 bucks for the 8th row seems a little high for up there.

Hoffy,

They are charging the same for these two games as they would a Brewers-Cubs game. They have arrived in the 21st Century and weight their tickets prices by opponents. My Brewers-Mets tickets were the same price.

And as I just pointed out in my DBag, the tickets to the Angels / Indians relocated series up there were 10 bucks. Bet if they weren't within driving distance of Chicago they wouldn't be charging those prices

Now the Astros need to get their shit together and get to Milwaukee and play in less than 24 hours. I know it is done everyday, but teams are usually not sitting around a hurricane hit city, which might make it a bit more difficult to get things together?

That makes sense, as the Cubs will already be there for the series on the 26th-28th and could easily play the following day there-if the game proves to be necessary, which I highly doubt it will be. The Astro's are not likely to be looking at getting that wild-card spot over the Brewers. But, it will be nice to go to Milwaukee tomorrow after the Bears game ends and catch another game. I just hope the rain subsides, so the drive is a bit easier. Big advantage for the Cubs to be playing what amounts to 2 extra (perhaps 3) home games.

I hope it pours and you can't see a goddam thing.

In '04 when the Marlins and Expos played at the Cell, it was $15 per ticket, with 5 of that going to a hurricane relief fund

The game on the 29th would be in Houston.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to play the game in St. Louis, which is between Chicago and Houston? Bud only set this up so his buddies that own the Brewers could get a cut of the profits (which they probably would, hosting the games).

Just about to leave and the rain has stopped with clear skies to the North. Mother Nature, must also be a Cubs fans. While the wrong side of town, is just like their fan base-all wet... What a great break this is, to get these extra games at Wrigley North. While I'm sitting dry and comfortable in the 7th row, I'll be thinking of Dipshit Frank, soaking wet at U.S. Cellular a couple days ago, waiting for a game they never played. Allowing the morons in, just to take their beer money, before sending them home....hilarious!!!

This is outrageous!!!! I am so pissed off.

Yesterday was spent in tears watching too much coverage of the destruction of my home town and Galveston which was a second home. I still have not been able to get in touch with some of my family yet.

But today I am pissed!!

Will this be on WGN, Comcast or what? Thanks.
