Shit. I thought a fifth of vodka could do that. Gaudin doesn't have the hangover to go with it?

It doesn't matter that Fielder had hit that home run, he's only celebrating Prince Spaghetti Night.

Kudos to Dempster. I thought he would have started sucking by now. I did not think he was for real as a starter. I am glad I was wrong, at least so far. Nice all around game tonight.
D Lee needs to stop blowing. Lou needs to give him some rest. He looks lost.

Another evening of relaxing MLB action, featuring the best team in the NL, and perhaps all of baseball! Soriano is showing everyone how much he means to the team - he is really hitting well, and igniting this offense. More splendid pitching! They clearly have the best 1-4 punch in the rotation of ANY team. Reed Johnson is a hustling ballplayer - what a great addition! This is a team with very little weakness right now, they are very solid in every aspect of the game. They likely will win this division by a double digit margin.

This is a day of celebration! Rejoice and dance, and let it all soak in! Don't mar it with angry comments towards the Cubs first baseman! He gives it his all, and he will right the ship (if you consider his average, HR and RBI totals a sinking ship, that is)! It is a team sport, and this team has the look and feel of a winner - a WORLD SERIES winner! Don't seek the negative, bask in the glow of the positive!

To all of your friends out there with the "glass half empty" mentality, I have only one thing to say:

relax. relax. relax.

Nice to see Rickie Weeks still playing like a dog in the first today. Also, nice to get another early lead. Puts even more pressure on the Brewers.

Man, Edmunds does it again. I doubt even Edmunds thought he was going to be this good with the Cub.

Loving the Road work this week against the Brewers and looking forward to chopping up the Pirates this weekend at Wrigley. This is a good time to take a lead, road heavy schedule coming up.

Do we see some retaliation from Howry?

Fielder is up next.

I wouldn't. Don't give the Brewers anything to fire them up.

You kicked their ass. Leave town.

See. Look at Fielder. The Cubs have messed up their heads. It's great.

Your probably right, knowing the Cubs luck there would be some bench clearing brawl and some Cub would end up hurt.
