It's very humorous to read all the posts by Sox fans now. Earlier in the season, they all seemed to want to run their mouths about how the Cubs were not that good and the Sox were great. Now they seem to have accepted the fate and know now THE CUBS END THE WAIT IN 2008!!!

Now the Cubs even have a winning ROAD record!!! Man, this just keeps getting better.

I'm not ordering WS tickets quite yet, but in regards to the Rays series, it was in Tampa (Cubs are a mere 1 game over .500 and the Rays are very good) and I believe Soriano was out for that series.
Rays kicked the Cubs' ass, no doubt. That doesn't make me believe it is a fait accompli should the Cubs be fortunate enough to make the WS and face the Rays, Angels or Sox/Twins. We do have some empirical evidence to show that were the WS to be Cubs vs Sox (God help us all. The meatheads would run amok), it would most likely go seven games. I don't like the thought of where that seventh game would be played...
