I know. The hi-lite of my weekend was finding ways around those blockers. So I figure I'll take advantage.

Fuck off.

Once again Frank-you demonstrate your stupidity. You say there were no plastics in the year the Cubs last won a World series (1908). Yet the fact is the first plastics were demonstrated at the 1862 Great International Exhibition in London. Then in 1907 Leo Hendrick Baekland improved plastics, when he manufactured the first fully synthetic resin based plastics that were then mass produced for commercial uses. Just like in most of your posts, you offer statements not based in actual fact and demonstrate you don't know your ass from your elbow, whether the subject be sports or anything else. But keep runnin your mouth Jabronee. It only allows everyone to see what a dumb ass you are. You think you know anything, about anything? IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!! Now know your role and shut your mouth, so I don't have to keep layin the smackdown on your Candy-Ass.

Welcome back-Spanky

Ah, my mistake. Its just that its been so long since the Cubs won a World Series, and so many other moments in history have happened....Guess I just wasn't up to par on my knowledge of plastics and just figured that that was yet another revalation thats happened in the century that has passed since the Cubs were World Series Champions.

Wrestling lingo. Good God

We have today's winner for "Ironic post of the day". Congratulations Elmhurst Steve. In the same thread, you went after Frank for posting factually incorrect statements and you tried to tell us that Soriano had a non-displaced fracture.

You may have been able to use google to find out that plastic existed prior to 1908 but you were too dumb to try and figure out what Soriano's injury actually was.

Last night they reported on the broadcast, that it was a non-displaced fracture. I guess that original diagnosis was not correct. I did read the Sun Times at lunch and indeed that is what the paper indicates. Too bad you couldnt get better medical attention, and have a misaligned hand though. Where the hell did you go, to the free clinic? I guess someone who had a shitty warehouse job can't get the best medical care though. Should have had a better plan, as Mac would say.
Is this supposed to be some kind of faggoty junior high school flame war? Oooh Kay then.
No, the original diagnosis was correct, you're just an idiot. Amazing how the Suntimes had that information in time to make their print copies. You know they don't update the stories after they're printed, right?
Actually a slight deformity of a boxer fracture is fairly common. A disfigurement of any broken bone is fairly common, which leads me to believe someone has broken your face in your past. Most likely someone by someone you've exposed your world view to, I imagine.
I had top quality medical care, actually. Since I was still in High School when this happened, I didn't have much choice in my insurance company. However, since it had happened at work, my employer paid for it. When you get an employer, they may cover you if you fall over your shadow or something at work and need medical care.

Now, know your role, and shut your mouth.

You can always tell you're dealing with a genius when they use Wrestle-talk. Elmhurst Steve, were he straight, would be an excellent match for italianfemale.

Game time-Zambrano vs Hudson. I was wondering with the storm coming, if Lou might think about starting Lieber again, like he did the last time there was threatening weather. But perhaps it's going to move out quickly enough that Lou isn't worried about a possible delay. This Black and White broadcast for the first two innings is stupid. The throw-back uniforms might be cool, but its hard to tell, when you are looking at them in black and white.

Oh, Frank-it's game time. No time for your dumb ass now.

Ghetto boy-you are right I am an excellent match for an Italian girl. My Girlfriend is 100% Italian and gorgeous. I was wondering how many posts I had to make, before someone was able to pick up on the Rock-style posts. . I don't have to worry about someone giving me a job. I have my own business, like my Father, Grand-Father and Great-Grandfather before me. I make money not just on my own labor, but on the labor of others, who like you have to work for others and worry about having a job at all.

Good God but this is stoopidfunny.

Well, there's an actual game on so all of you... SHUT UP for a couple hours. Resume your pissing contest afterwards.

And yes, I'm aware of the irony as I harangued Frank for quite awhile. Tried not to during games though.

I agree, kerchungathunk. This thread is highlarious. I need to read the Cubs section more often. Elmhurst Steve has given me my new signature, btw.

Is the apostrophe in there for the irony then?

Why the hell didn't they bunt with Patterson there? He is supposed to be a good bunter.

Agreed. I let out an audible "AWW!" when Patterson was announced as the leadoff hitter. No matter how well he hits with "Iowa" on his jersey, in the majors he's an automatic out and doesn't play to his strengths, just like his chump brother.

Whatever.

I was surprised he got the call too. I guess they must feel that they want to leave Theriot in the second spot in the order, where he has done so well and get someone else up, who has batted leadoff. But I would have rather they put Reed Johnson or Theriot in the leadoff spot. In any case, letting him hit away, in a spot that he could have moved 2 runners along, seems questionable. With his speed, he might have even beaten a bunt out.

Hudson is pitching a hell of a game today. Hopefully, if they can't get to him in the next couple of innings, he won't be able to go the distance, as Dempster did last night and they can get to the Bravo's bullpen. Good to have the series won already, but it's hard not to get greedy and want another sweep. It would be nice to keep the home win streak alive and move it to 11 in a row.

Would have taken Z out for a pinch hitter there because if he didn't get a hit he'd probably lose it the next inning, and go figure he walks the lead-off guy on 4 pitches after popping out.

3 bases loaded strikeouts for the Braves, would be a shame to waste the effort and not at least come back and tie it.
