man you must have had a lot of grocery bags saved up as a kid.

I know. But she had the best body. She wasn't horribly ugly.

Brenda had this "evil bitch" quality to her. Plus she was hot. So you kind of always fantacized about banging the evil out of her. That was her appeal. She's lost her fast ball. Have you guys seen her recently?

Well a crappy night for both Chicago teams.

Atleast the Brewers lost.

Really hope someone hits a line drive off Valverde's head sometime soon. This guy is a complete d-bag.

yeah, but so does Valverde, so there. 8)
And who else wants to smack Brandon "Hissy Fit" Backe in the fucking face. Bigger douche than Z
and Valverde put together. He and Brett Myers are on my "hope they don't get hit in the grill, but in the nutts" list.

90210 is on right now. My God, it's funny. All of these "high school" girls have to be 25-28 in real life. It was so funny hearing the one chick saying "My sweet 16 is coming up". She has to be 27. These girls don't even talk like girls. They are all sophisticated adults.

That's like the old show too. They were older. That's the only way you can get them to be in sex scenes.

Derek Lee batting with the bases loaded and just 1 out in the ninth-the pitcher had just walked the 2 previous batters, he starts Lee out with ball one, then Lee grounds into a double play. Another walk, or a sac fly there, wins the game. Shouldn't you take 1 strike after the pitcher has walked the bases loaded? When he has just walked the previous 2 batters? That was awful. He has to know if he's swinging there that he has to get the ball in the air. That was just terrible..

i agree completely. very frustrating. he did smoke that ball, but absolutely you need to force that guy to throw strikes. hopefully they get it squared away today. the only team that can be feeling worse than the cubs lately is the brewers. they cant seem to bite into that lead, no matter how shitty the cubs play.

i have to mention also that i was pissed to see them run ward up there to pinch hit - i was POSITIVE they were going to give hoffpauier a chance, especially since they let mcgehee pinch hit earlier in a critical situation when they still had veteran righties on the bench who could have hit. ahh well, what the hell. they will straighten it out and start winning again.

Proof enough you are a true Cubs fan. They need to snap
out of this funk. Cubs inning over... I think they are better
than this. I hope they get it out of their system. I saw this
happening but was waiting for it 2 weeks from now.

Where the hell are the bats? If the damn Brewers weren't going through a funk too, I'd be flipping out right now! Shit!

We are damn lucky the Brewers are struggling too.

I keep expecting one of those 6 run innings and to see the bats explode and it just aint happening.

As long as Z and Harden are good to go come playoff time, you guys will be fine. I doubt any team will make up 5+ games and take away home field. In happened to the Mets last season but this Cubs team seems much more complete than that team.

It's not just about Z and Harden. The bats have been quiet over the last week or so with 6-4-3 Lee bein the main culprit choking with men on base. The Cubs are hitting but not when it counts especially this series and the last 2 of the Philly series

Wow this was pathetic. 2 shutouts, you get swept, and lose 5 in a row. Thank god for the off day tomorrow, these guys look dead. Lou really needs to shake up the lineup.

Yup. It's incredible how bad they look, after looking so unstoppable just a week ago. Yikes.
