4 for 4 including a 2 out 2 RBI hit. Baez may well be a star, rather than just a solid player. Lot's of tools, including the best arm on the team by far, good speed and good pop. He's fun to watch. Plays with a lot of enthusiasm.

2005 is all they have left. Solar has been the only core prospect to be a "bust". Even Almora looks to be fitting in well.

Again, you have the wrong fucking guy. Barney? Lake? What? There was no bigger critic of Lake than me.

Travis Wood is a fine member of the Chicago Cubs.

The only one I was wrong about is Brett Jackson...and that was simply quite a bit ago now. I'm confident in my more recent analysis.

He may be the player that is most fun to watch. Plays with such spirit and enthusiasm. He plays aggressively and had mad skills. I think the best is yet to come.

Yes. He has a .717 OPS now and has steadily climbed. He has a .900+ OPS in June. He is clearly still learning and the best is yet to come. But even now he would be a starter on most teams.

A guy who can play every infield position and is a plus defender, runs the bases well and has pop and hits .265 despite not playing every day, is doing just fine.
