Well they didn't improve over the offseason. Aside from adding Davis and they started the year with an awful pen. Edwards and Davis are fine but the rest is has been trash. Hollywood Baez has been bad and contreras acts like a spazzed out 15 year old. The big bats haven't really done much and these guys still continually leave mass amounts of base runners stranded. Theo is punting this year for some reason.

The bullpen looks bad because the Cubs aren't scoring 7 runs per game like they were to start the season last year. Don't worry about the 'pen. Get the bats going, and things will fall into place. 89 wins might take the division anyway.

We talked about how historic the Cubs starters were last season. Of course that would not happen again. However, the Cubs starters are better than they have been in 2017, and it will be evident hopefully sooner rather than later.
