400 Section between the bases are the best value in Wrigley.

Not surprised a dumbshit like Steve would run his mouth without having any clue on what he's talking about.

That motherfucker would order dogshit at a steakhouse if it was the most expensive item on the menu to prove he's a bigshot.

But that begs the question, "What are good seats?" When people come from other places to see a game at Beautiful Wrigley Field®, they generally aren't coming to sit in Section 118. The "Wrigley Experience" by definition is in the bleachers.

I did the bleachers when I was younger. I don't anymore. It is an experience and I'm glad I did it but it's not for me anymore. But you make a point on what is a good seat. Honestly to me the beauty is walking out of tunnel and seeing the field open up in front of me. But I'd also kill to have the old scout sitting in the row infront of us smoking his clove cigarettes and his buddy with the cigarillos. At least 9 year old squirrel thought he was a scout. That experience is dead but those smells still mean baseball to me.

Why anyone would jump on tickets in the upper deck......worse yet, upper deck not near the front of the upper deck, is beyond me. If your seats are shitty, it's not even worth going. Pay more and get a decent seat. Just drink less and eat before going to the game.

I agree with The Brand on this one

I don't have a dollar to my name but I agree with him too. It's become a once a year event for me now.

My kids have sat in the bleachers approx 20 times in the past year, including twice this year. Day games...night games....whatever.

It's no different there than in the main grandstand.

You have to excuse Caller Bob. He's touched in the head, or he really wants someone in BoysTown to touch his "head". I can't really tell anymore.

It get's pretty rowdy, profane. I personally, wouldn't take a kid under 10ish in the bleachers.

I don't know what you are trying to imply Boyd. But you strike me as the type that would be a real fucking shitty father. It is indeed pretty raucous out in the bleachers, so I just avoid not taking my son there yet. I'm also not complaining about said behavior there, I get it. Young folks want to have a good time too, PG-13 or higher rated.

If you're taking a kid to Lakeview, with it's Englewood violent crime rates, you can take them to the fucking bleachers. How lame do you have to be to find the bleachers edgy?

1. The Wrigley Experience® is definitely a game in the bleachers. What genius execution to market terrible seats as the epitome of viewing a Cubs game in-person.

2. Kids are definitely allowed. MANY clown ass parents take their kids to the bleachers. The parents can reenact their drunken yute with their child(ren) at their side. Also gets their yutes on the fast-track to becoming drunken bleacher douchebags.

I've been dozens and dozens of games in both the bleachers and grandstand. Anyone with basic knowledge of WF demographics knows the bleachers are a bar like atmosphere.

That's precious, but go fuck yourself. You come off as some sort of morally superior grand stander.

I wouldn't take either of my daughters there either, but to be fair, I don't have any interest in sitting out there, either, so there's that. The idea that you're implying I'm a shitty father because I don't follow your high and mighty philosophy is one of the saddest, puffy-chested stances I've seen here in quite some time. You don't know anything about me beyond what I post here. So go fuck yourself cockstain. I'm still sorry your father didn't pull out.

Young folks? What are you? 70?

Depends on the day and game. Not much different than the rest of the park on most days.

Good feedback from all.

I've sat everywhere in Wrigley since the late 70s.

My preferred and favorite seats are upper deck third base side. You get a great view of the field and you can even look out to the lake. People forget Wrigley upper deck is not as high as some of the modern stadiums. I've always enjoyed the game from there and when my kids were young I use to take them out there since it was always full of families.

As for the bleachers I can see where kids sit there without any problems. Even on your daily cub game telecast you see lots of kids there. I'm pretty sure it's not rowdy like in the old days. I'm sure it's been commercialized and lost it's somewhat shady reputation.

Do they even do the 'right field sucks' chants anymore?

that's your opinion. I've sat in 427 and 428 more times than I care to remember, and I'd prefer, value wise the 200's just out from under the roof on the 3B side. That's the best seats you can save up for and afford.

I wouldn't take my young kids to Wrigley either. Maybe when they're 10 or 11. I don't like having to explain public drunkeness.
