Schwarber and Baez may both be under the Mendoza line by game's end. Baez still looking for his first non-intentional walk of the year?

They both will have to adjust. Kyle has enough film on him now teams know what he is likely to swing at. Same for Baez. This is common knowledge for any baseball fan so I am stating the obvious but they must correct their flaws.

Baez reminds me of Sammy Sosa now. Just pitch him a slider out of the zone and he'll bite every time.

The Wrigley bleachers have been full of garbage on gameday for years.

Never thought I'd see Schwarber at catcher, Contreras at third, and Montero at first. That would be an interesting conversation if there was ever a mound visit.

I think we're going to have to adopt the 6 man rotation sooner rather than later.

All of our starters seem to be laboring early in the year. A whole lot of innings have been thrown over the past two years and in the cases of Lester and Lackey, much longer than that.

100% correct. I think a month is long enough to see what there is, or is not, to see.

Frankly, the idea that Lester can't hold people on base more often than not works out very well for him ... evidenced by yet another dunce right there.

This new "strategy" of running right at the baserunner has worked out surprisingly well for Lester so far.

Do you think you can kick 71 year old Larry Bowa's ass?

He's feisty and don't think the groin would be off limits in his eyes.

As I predicted, he would right the ship. Once less target for the Subdivision trolls.

I'd like to point out once again that both Felix Pie and I are impressed with Carl Edwards Jr's ball movement.

It's keeping Jon Daniels and good dolphin awake at night.
