One of many things that have been driving me nuts about his year is the hitting into the shift. Even when he is pitched outside he is trying to yank everything and he is just rolling over and grounding right into the shift.

Yep. It would be perfectly acceptable for Theo to sit him down and tell him that until he can hit at least 1/4 of his ground balls left of 2B, that he's going to enjoy the Des Moines scenery for a while.

This turn over grounder into the shift is a variation of what Heyward was doing last year. You can't win a playoff game doing that.
