Saw the Rockies at Sloan Park in Mesa March 11th in Spring Training and was really impressed with them. That is a pretty solid team!
Trevor Story, Nolan Arenado, Cargo, D.J. LaMahieu, Ian Desmond and the guy I like the best on that team....Charlie Blackmon. That guy is as underrated as they come. Good outfielder, hits for average, has some pop, steals bases. Not going to be an easy team to beat and the 2 pitchers going today, both have had good early season's. Should be a good series.

This season has been a drag so far. Watching this team is just one giant headache.

The NL could institute six wild card teams and the Cubs might not make the postseason.

I haven't had a chance to look. How are the Cubbies doing today? We really need Jake to have a long outing to save the bullpen.

Arrieta isn't any good anymore but the starting pitching can't be this bad all year.

1) Trade Schwarber
2) Stop batting the pitcher 8th

Focus on that for now

Why is Schwarber taking that ball? Almora would have had it. So fucking stupid, playing this light-hitting DH in left field.

World Series hero, fine. Should have been patted on the back and dealt in the off-season.

We need to keep little Tommy LaStella in limbo.

The Cub are better when Tommy is upset. And Tommy likes his chicken spicy.

Yeah, fuck Schwarber and fuck LaStella. I'd also say fuck Arrieta but I'm still giving him a pass for his post election tweet.

Would be nice if Lackey can bulldog his way through 6-7 innings in the nightcap.

Let's bounce back in game 2.

If we don't, John Lackey might hurt himself or someone else.

My first scouting trip I drove to SIU to watch Sam Coonrod pitch against NIU. Coonrod was a 5th round pick by the Giants and will most likely make him MLB debut this year. Then I drove to Evansville, IN (it's called a double up) to watch Kyle Freeland throw the shit out of it against WIU. Freeland was the 8th pick in the country. That was a good day
