This has been a brutal series. The pitching and bats have been awful. After Lester and Hendricks, the rotation is pretty bad. It's really starting to look this might be a 82-85 win team. Looks like they can beat on the shit cans, but will get beat on by the better teams. Should be able to sweep the Padres and get a 3-3 road trip.

Even if they do, Barry Rozner told me this morning its not a big deal because its a long season and things like that will happen.

They're going to unload on SD. Just what they need after running into the Dodgers.

Starting pitching is a concern with Hendricks and Lester (not today) holding it down, but Lester and Arrieta struggling, it's tough to get on a streak. The offense on the road has been horrendous as well, but hard to see the Padres holding them down.
