6 games this week against the Mets and Cardinals. Cubs need to go 5-1 at worse. No reason not to sweep the Mets. I'm thinking in the last 19, 15-4 is probably the worse they can go.

I guess anyone could go on a 19 game winning streak like the Indians have...but I wouldn't call it likely.

Especially considering Brewers and Cardinals play each other to end the season.

The Cubs have to go at least .500 against the Cards & Brewers and then kick ass against the Mets/Rays/Reds (like 6 of those 8 games).

This division is for from won with 7 left vs the Cardinals. If they go 2-5 vs STL they are in trouble.

It's embarrassing the Cubs are even in this position. They've played like one good team in the entire second half.

Yeah...I just hope we're in position for that last WC by then. But neither team is gonna beat the Nats, LA or you in the playoffs, so it's all moot.
