Goldschmidt always killed the Cubs. Now that he is on the Cardinals, I have more confidence in the Cubs against the Dbacks. Of course, I have less confidence in the Cubs beating the Cardinals now.

Chase Field is quite an ugly park. It's like Miller Park without the soul, and Miller Park doesn't even have much soul.

Hendricks is getting beat around more than a relative of Tyreek Hill. 7 hits already. Miss some fucking bats.

Kap had Heyward on and he specifically asked what is he doing mechanically to improve his hitting. He said he and DeJesus broke down each year. So, Kap knows. He pretty much flatly refused to discuss specifics on his hitting stance and swing. It's not a grandma swing this year. Actual leverage. Each year Heyward's swing had good periods. But, he always reverts back to his grandma swing tieing himself in knots. Joe I see is trying to protect him playing Zagunis against lefties. He's a big guy with a lot of talent hiding beneath his failures with the Cubs. He's bound to sooner or later have a productive year out of his 8 with the Cubs. What triggers him reverting to his grandma swing each year? Pressure? If the Cubs make the playoffs will he produce better than his 100 ba?

He does start off crappy most years, the juiced ball could also be a huge problem.

I think if the seams are tighter, it's a problem for him.

Plus why the fuck would Joe start a finesse pitcher in Arizona where the curve ball doesn't curve as easily? I know the Dodgers hit righties well, but they should have started Hendricks at Wrigley and Lester in Arizona. They lost both games as it was, so how much worse would it have been?

Well he's going to throw 100 pitches by the middle of the 5th so there's an easy explanation to pull him early.

Darvish has them flinching up there after throwing at their heads for a few innings.

Good job letting him get out of his own shit and finish that. That is a quality start I do believe.
