It's completely irrelevant that they moved from a below .500 team at the all star break to a team several games above after when the schedule became bums on parade.

We laugh at Reverend Watkins' key to winning...well, some of us do.

I remember when the Cubs were going to lose the World Series last year because the AL was FAR SUPERIOR and the Cubs just beat up on bums.

This will be retorted by how injured the Indians were and it still took the Cubs 7 games to beat them. Nonwithstanding the fact that same injured Indians team beat the two best American League teams on their way to losing the WS. It's Dolphin 101.

Do you also remember that they were stretched to the very limit by a team missing its top two pitchers and a third with a finger that looked like the scene of a horror movie?

Truth hurts.

I'm sorry your team's unremarkable run was left in history's dustbin by Donald Trump's glorious victory.

I agree with dolphin. 23-12 is not a good record and winning a World Series is not a big deal

Cubbie anxiety over the possibility of being the next WS participant not to make the following year's playoffs have Cubbie fans on edge.

Cubs' winning culture is so established that fans would get upset about missing the playoffs the year after winning a World Series.

the Indians weren't a great team and weren't representative of the AL. But that's how the playoffs work. Unpredictability.

if you don't think Kluber was and is one of the Indians top two pitchers you are either a liar or stupid, take your pick.
