When you were a kid, it was tougher to make the playoffs. Only 2 teams from the NL and AL made it. It was 2 divisions in each league with no Wild Card.

Yup, it's official the Cubs 2016-17 was far superior to the Sux futile 2005-06. Couldn't even have the balls to make it back and defend the title.
