and why not?

I was a fan of the Brewers, Astros, Athletics (because they were good) and Cubs, until the Brewers came to the NL. I grew up listening to Uecker and when 620 gave out I'd put Dewayne Statts and the Cubs on. I went to my first Cubs game around 9 y.o. and was hooked but until then I could have been persuaded otherwise.

I met the Astros in Houston as a kid (family relation watched HW's kids) and that's why they were my team besides the Cubs.

I get and share the MLB package almost every year and go to sleep a lot of nights watching the A's or an Astros game.

I get the NBA package to watch the Warriors, T-Wolves and Blazers.

I still hate Roger Clemens and Jeff Bagwell and those 2004-2005 teams too much to have any warm feelings for the Astros, even with a complete roster turnover, new uniforms, and playing in the other league. They were like the Blues to the Cardinals' Red Wings, the rival you can't even begrudgingly respect. And their park is still a joke.

Astros are the Cardinals south, since raiding the St Louis front-office back in 2011.

Ok, so you like most of the teams that are good when they are good.

I liked the Astros long before it came to the Killer B's. I did struggle to like Clemens, but I liked Biggio and Bagwell, well, he was a roider, just like Sammy. Sammy was way more annoying.

of all those teams listed, only the Athletics were any good when I became a fan. Add the 49ers to that followed-because-they-were-good list, while I now follow the Bears, I paid no attention to them as a kid.

What's with black people and those jackets that have all the NBA logos but one or two of the logos aren't quite right?

Us Dodger fans wouldn't know about only winning by one.

That was as good of a baseball team last night by the Dodgers as I've ever seen.

They scored 11 at Wrigley with a near shut-out. That's unheard of.
