ok off to work. i'll try to listen to kasper then.

I think the walk off will hide the fact that the hitters can't do shit. Let's start scoring some fucking runs next game.

Joe on post game TBS now.

Bad analogy...the Dodgers organization has won championships...the Blues organ-I-zation has not.

ya but 29 years ago. totally different regime now.

They still won World Series titles..the Blues have not won Stanley Cups...try again.

try what again? none of these guys were born when the last dodger team won. The Omalley's aren't even the owners now.

R-E-L-A-X Sparky...you’re the same guy that wants to jump off a building whenever the Cubs lose a game. This is basically the same team that was down 3-1 to Indians and their bats were dead then. You got 2 at Wrigley.

Hats off for not kissing corporate ass.

Good.

What is he ripping Theo/Jed for, the bullpen? They traded for a guy having a great season and he sucked after he got year. It's not like they didn't try to upgrade that spot. It's clear the pitching will need to be addressed this off-season. The rotation will be solid (Lester, Quintana, Hendricks for sure), but will need another elite starter if Arrieta isn't back and a veteran type to fill the #5 spot. Is there a reason why Wade Davis wouldn't be brought back as a priority? I have read in a couple spots that he's not likely to be back. If that is accurate, why?

I think it has been thought that Edwards would take over the closer role after this year. But with his struggles I dont think they can go that route yet. I would def look to resign Davis.

Yeah, what's he ripping Theo for? A team that has made three consecutive NLCS's and won the WS last year? Let's not get ridiculous.

Kap ripped Theo/Jed for the bullpen but he is all over Maddon for having Lackey and not Davis in the game in the 9th.

I'm fine with it after an emotional loss. It just can't continue tomorrow or it's ridiculous.

They seem hesitant to go multi-year on a closer, so Davis I guess won't be back unless he accepts a 2 year deal maybe with a 3rd year option tied to performance. I wanted Jansen bad and they didn't even make an offer. Edwards is not ready to close next year. Without a closer, your team is toast, so they are going to have to get someone elite.

We shall see.

Also, Rizzo should be embarrassed. Since his stupid "respect me" tirade, he has looked like garbage. Karma's a bitch.

Let's hope the offense re-emerges at Wrigley, especially Bryant/Rizzo & Contreras.

The guys getting fired will be bullpen guys not returning. Big decisions and acquisitions need to happen this off-season to the pitching staff. They have a challenge indeed.

Contreras has been bad since the injury. Don't think he has homered since coming back

It was weird. He started screaming "respect me!" after he hit a pop up that three guys ran to and then watched it drop. It wasn't even a good hit.

After he hit that lucky bloop single against the Nats, he screamed "respect me" at the Nats bench because they didn't intentionally walk him with first base open. It was stupid as hell.
