Thanks! Leash do you feel similarly?

The better team wins most of the time, but I do not agree that the team that wins the WS is necessarily one of the top 2.

So it is mostly skill that wins in the playoffs?

I've explained my position 100 times, but here goes again...

The baseball playoffs inarguably contain more randomness than any other sport. I have posted dozens of links that exhibit this. In fact, the game of baseball itself contains more randomness without even bringing the playoffs into it. That's why baseball requires a 162-game season. Over the course of that number of games, any oddities or randomness tends to even itself out. Baseball is a game of sample size.

What you seem to miss about my argument is that I have never said, nor do I believe, that it takes anything away from the WS champion. They're the champion. They did what they needed to to win the prize. They are the champion without any caveat. Isn't that good enough?

What is the ultimate point of this though? I mean, in anything, the more times you do something the less of an effect randomness can have, and baseball has the longest season. I can't argue with any of that. What is the ultimate conclusion though?

I don't understand the question. What type of conclusion are you looking for other than what I just stated?

Is that a skill or are you just lucky?

To be arguing with Rick? All I can say is it's definitely not by choice.

That's my question. Baseball is more random than other sports. Is that it?

He might be sad that his season could be over.
