I like occassional schedule quirks like this.

Cubs play all their games in Cincy before the Reds ever even show up to Wrigley Field this year. First time I've ever seen that type of a schedule quirk for any MLB team.

The cubs still have 10 home games against the Reds after this series. And no more games in Cincy.

In fact, 10 of the last 41 Cub home games are against the Reds.

I think there was a year, I want to say 2004, where the Cubs were either done with St. Louis altogether by early June or done going to St. Louis.

At first glance this seemed like Advantage-Cubs, but it's not looking that way any more.

Last Cubs-Cardinals game was July 20th. Played them 19 times in 72 games (#22-#93) and not once down the stretch. Some quirk.
