I’m hoping the best for Darvish and expect things to work out. But I wish the Cubs would’ve taken a flyer on Verlander and/or Gerrit Cole. They were both in shitty situations and immediately came back to form once they moved to Houston. Seems Hammels is another guy where this happened. Not much was given up for Cole right? Much less than what the Cubs gave up for Quintana?

Either something is wrong with pitchtrax or that was the highest zone I have ever seen. Happ, Heyward and Baez all had called strikes on a pitch that was a foot above the zone according to the mlb pitch trax.
