Well, when WGN had all of the games the Cubs mostly sucked.

How many games would you want to watch?

I mean I guess the Division clinchers in 84 and 89 would be something you want to watch. Kerry Wood's 20 k game. The Sandburg game was an NBC game.

The good teams they had this century were Comcast games mostly. I don't think the Cubs have rights to those.

I don't even know if they can replay the World Series games cuz it's FOX.

I'm sure they could get any game they want for a price. But, as we just found out, Tom Ricketts is broke. So he's not in spending mode.

wgn use to play old cubs games during rain delays. i think a lot of ppl would still tune in to old cubs games than some infomercial. MLB Network replays old games from the past and they are pretty good to watch.

Has anyone who has Hulu + Live TV lose Marquee off their lineup? We had it last year and now it's gone. Nothing else has changed. We're about 50 miles outside the city but we still get WLS, WBBM etc..

I recently paid my service provided to remove the Marquee Network so I won't be tempted to watch this shit show.

I noticed its no longer in my channel list (hulu+tv), but i think that might just be because they are not actively broadcasting anything during the offseason

Didn't Tom Rickets say more spring games would be televised when the Marquee Network was first discussed? Granted that was before covid. Both the Cubs and Sox would have games on with local Arizona announcers filling in in the past. Or their own backup people. And nbcsc televises merely a handful of Sox spring games. At least other teams radio feed isn't blacked out in the spring.

I'm stuck with the Marquee broadcast today.
