I thought going into spring training that they should give Morel a chance to claim 3rd base. Wisdom just had too much swing and miss. I liked his defense, particularly the arm. He runs the bases well and has plenty of pop, but just a whole lot of strikeouts. But I think perhaps the Cubs have their 3rd baseman. Wisdom is making contact more consistently and covering pitches on the outer half and at the upper quadrant of the strike zone. He is showing more confidence and for good reason. Love the early returns.
