Costas is doing the RedSox/Yankees game on MLB Network but is having a hard on talking about the Cards winning streak every other inning.

I said this earlier but goes to show the baseball season is a marathon. If the Cubs had kept all their guys could they have pulled off a late season rally like this and been in contention for a WC spot? We will never know.

I have been sayin' this since Day One.

Jed called em a 4th place team and gave up. In the last 2 months, Toronto, Yankees, and Red Sox have been 4th place teams. ALL of 'em have reached 2nd place (and a wild card spot) at some point since Aug 1.

Then they won 17 in a row and clinched a playoff spot.
