solid 2000 and 2001 season

not sure why we didnt bring him back

solid leadoff 2nd hitter

couldve used him in 02//03

i remember reading somewhere they didnt bring Eric Young Sr back because the Cubs exist solely to ruin your life

theres no discussion to be had about how someone feels about an Eric Young Sr.

if it were put into a context of how one thinkd the cubs handle free agency, or resigning their players, pro vs con... that is a discussion to be had.
