Maybe, but that says more about the market than Stroman. One 8th place finish in Cy Young in his career and one All-star appearance. Sorry if I expect more from an ace.

That deal is pretty good for this team. They need depth at SP and a 3-year deal for this price is fine. He definitely improves the rotation and I love that he is a ground ball pitcher. He has some upside if he can stay healthy.

It's not a long deal, but there will be better clearance aisle options. I would love to get a lockdown #1 starter, but I have no interest in paying $50M a year for anyone.
