That was so bad that when the Pirates scored their third run I got annoyed and put on the Rangers' radio feed for their game vs the Mariners and decided to fall asleep to that instead.

That signing is the worst value in Cubs history. I cannot stand watching him bat.

Last night was a perfect example. He was actually out on that very weak contact where the ball hit him as he was out of the batters box. Then on the next pitch he takes a horrible cut, strike three.

He is an easy guy to like from the way he speaks and handles the pressure. But from the on field performance, just torture to watch.

Its infuriating to watch because he is completely comfortable showing up every day and being fucking terrible. He reminds me of Major League 2 when Cerrano can't hit for shit and smiles all the way back to the dugout after a weak fly ball. It adds to the frustration that Ross doesn't care either and puts him out there almost every day.

Last night JHK ABs were as impotent as I've ever seen him. And that's saying a lot. He only made contact a few times in 4 AB. There's no place for him to hide in the batter's box. All his apologists bs won't help against a pitcher that over-matches him.

He appears to be a lot thinner. Possibly cutting back or off the juice.

He played a big part in the Cubs getting the 7th '22 draft pick which is his only value.

I always thought 75 wins in '22. If Stroman gets hot I always thought he'd be traded. Much to the delight of many fans. Hopefully it's pointed in the right direction. But it's still a big mess until all-star caliber players abound. Ross chose the worst time possible to take the helm.
