Given that Morel's also a good 3B defensively and he can stand at 2B and SS, there is no reason not to play him every day at this point. He will eventually slump, but so what.

So many hitters struggling on both sides of town. Harrison looks like a mini JHk with weak dribblers. League wide offensive numbers are inching their way up.

Cubs really didn't need 12+ innings today with a DH tomorrow and no starter determined for one of the games.

They struggled to split with an uncompetitive Cubs team and will be throwing out lineups that include several automatic outs: Harrison, Garcia, Burger, Yas, Sheets, McGuire, Mandick…the good hitters on their team aren’t really getting it done and they just lost their best player.

I’m not as concerned with poor fundamentals as I am with the bulk of the roster.
