It's a fine line. Wanting them to lose for a higher draft pick. Throw away guys can suck. But, players part of the future plans hate to see them get destroyed.

Don't give up on the Sox. They'll make a big run once they get healthy.

Sorting through Ross' mumbo jumbo, talking in circles talk didn't he hint that Heyward would get AB's against righties even when Suzuki returns. They've planted the seed Suzuki isn't in baseball shape and they'll use that card to get Heyward AB's. Love that Ricketts, Jed, Ross, Heyward only do interviews that their asses are kissed. Interesting how soft the press was on Hoyer today. Never questioning how the #2 man who bankrupted the talent should lead the rebuild. Well Heyward's ops could actually dip below 500 will be must see viewing.

In the "all players" pool '22 MLB batters Heyward ranks 385th in ops.
