Yeah, at least the Danley garage door and True Link fence commercials were limited to actual commercial breaks and not inserted into the telecast like "the Cubs have the heart of the order coming up, brought to us by Northwestern Medicine..."

Agree. I hadn't realized how bad it had gotten until I listened to a Cubs game on the radio earlier this year. There are so many spots to read that I'm not sure how Pat finds time for the game.
