A) Staring end of March / early April is plain idiocy.
B) Even with that stupid decision. Load these games in warm climates and enclosed stadiums.

Regular season should be May 1 - Labor Day weekend. Add double headers and shorten the number of total regular season games.

Most of the cold weather games will be over on May 14 at Minnesota. They have a 9 game homestand over Memorial Day which could be a bit chilly (I have bad memories of a Memorial Day DH vs the Mets), but for the most part the sharp anti-power weather will be over.
