Isnt Boog a big analytics guy? Can he quantify how team chemistry results in wins ? He should stfu when the actual big leaguers are talking.

Boog said he's asked if the Cubs have a "kangaroo court". He seemed genuinely disappointed that it appears they don't giving the news in a "my puppy just died" skaken up voice. JD's aggravation with Boog can be measured by the lengthiness or brevity (like here) of his responses.

I have not watched much Cubs this year but a couple times it has appeared that Taylor got a little aggravated with Boog about something. One instance it seemed JD was uncomfortable and tried to steer the conversation back to baseball.

A couple days ago Boob mentioned something about Venmo and his birthday, wasn't his birthday like a week ago?

I enjoy JD as well. Like Murph said before he retired, he's like a poor man's Steve Stone.

This season, when it's just Girardi and JD talking baseball in the booth with Boog not saying shit, it's been great to listen to. It's like the magic between Kuiper and Krukow on the Giants broadcast. Not THAT good, but the best since Harry/Steve days.

he was pissing and moaning the other day how it bothers him when teams both wear alternates during the same game and he tried to rally Taylor on his side by calling on her as being "fashion sensible" and she was like "I do not care about that."

I've noticed Girardi quite often asks JD's specific opinion (hands off Boog) then JD and JG go back and forth for a minute or so without Boog. That isn't common in most other broadcasts crews.
