susyuki is fucking useless

Sat down on a quiet night to watch Cubs. See my theory about Hottovy exihibited once again tonight. Once again Hottovy goes out there and bad things happen. He meets with Stroman, next guy single. He meets with Rucker, HBP, single.

Suzuki looks like a bust. Nothing impressive about this guy.

Segura's history is he will K like 99/100 times but that 1 time he'll get a hit is in a clutch moment. He did it twice tonight. To tie and win the game. Everyone knew Stroman was done that inning. Why have Hottovy come out. Just pull the guy. He did this twice w/ Stroman this season. Left him in a batter or two too long.

I don't have a problem with Grandpa leaving Stroman in. Pitching some of his best as a Cub. Mid 80s pitches into 7th. Gives up a bloop single and a walk. Making $25M. This is why you got him.

But, "journeyman" Michael Rucker in the 9th struggling gives up a hit and hits 2 guys. Had to be data driven tied into being in the midst of 16 games in a row to leave him in. Even Grandpa ass-kisser Kap questioned leaving Rucker in.

Need to get Suzuki out of cleanup...maybe swap him with Wisdom in the 8th spot (I imagine Wisdom is there because Ross likes the L-R-L-R order). Suzuki is not a MLB power hitter.

How is Ross still employed by this team? The more talent they get the more clear it is that he is an atrocious manager. He is a bench coach and that is it. He can play grab ass with guys like Rizzo and be the conduit between a real manager and the team but that is it.
