Because its an argument I have never made. Try and find a post where I have said Sox fans don't talk about the Cubs. You won't find one.

You will however find posts that claim Cubs fans don't talk about the Sox or care about the Sox, and well we see just how untrue that is.

What I actually said was constantly worrying about the other team is miserable while your own team is in a playoff race.

In 2021, Sox fans were much less active in this section then cub fans have been in the Sox section this season. Check the tapes.
