Sounds to me like this deal will not be taking place for a long time once the politics gets involved and Tribune/Zell/New Owner(s) meet the fine alderman and state reps with their hands out for 'donations' in order to get votes and approvals.

I have heard the ex Gov on the air-ways twice now. Once with George & Jessie, and the other day he was on with Spike on WGN. In both cases...the Ex-Gov spoke like a true politician...glossing over the details & painting a beautiful picture where everyone wins & the tax payers and the fans have nothing to worry about. Bullshit.

Also, in both cases, the people doing the "interviewing" where fucking PUSSIES...and cowering to him. Get someone with some stones to actually ask some tough questions and not let him run the interview.

Why is the state trying to ram-rod this through?? why?
