I realize some members were either at the game or in Wrigleyville, but I can't believe this thread hasn't been started yet.

I have to admit, I had a sick feeling in my stomach after A.J. hit the two-run homer off Lilly, plus the Cubs consistently hitting into double plays. But wow, what a way to end the game. The adrelanine from this should counter-act the tiredness that is supposed to catch up to them tomorrow with all the traveling they just did.

Good game. I'm impressed that the Cubs pulled this one out, I had them for dead this series. Whats with this home field advantage insanity?

Funny thing is, everything still looks the same in the section:

1. Bad move by Ozzie
2. A-ram over Crede - anyday
3. Frank is still a booger eating, cover band loser (please reply to this by telling me how I should root/follow my team, like you did before. You're the greatest.)
4. Cubs still win

This might be a wasted thread, everything is still the same!

I was going to tell Frank the same thing when I meet up with him on Sunday.

Go ahead and take A-Ram in his 0-for-12 against Arizona in the 2007 NLDS.
It's funny how Cubs fan seem to have selective amnesia about Ramirez.

Ramirez had a good run in 2003 were he had 4 homers and 10rbi's in their run, but did go 0-12. Crede makes the great plays, but has 13 errors compared to ramirez's 7. I dont think you lose with either.

Shit, Patterson is back in Left. I wish Patterson, Murton, and Ronny would go away.

Really don't like the Cubs lineup today, with Patterson, Fontenot, and Edmonds in it. To me thats alot of easy outs, even with Edmonds swinging better.

Patterson makes a Soriano type misplay in Left, got lucky with Marquis picking up the K.

Im sure you're probably listening to the Cubs broadcast, but it was funny to hear Hawk defending that saying because it was on the mound it was a tough catch.

Yeah, I heard that also. I actually am listening to the Sox broadcast more. I only watched the Cubs when they had Hendry in the booth.

Mercy, back to back by Fontenot and Edmonds. I was just going to rip on Marquis for giving up one to a career minor leaguer in Wise.

Yeah, I was just going to say I was wrong. Who would of thought Patterson would be 3 for 3, when he has sucked every time up here so far.

Hopefully Marquis breaks his trend of giving back the lead after the Cubs give it to him.

Of course DeRosa would kill the streak. Ozzie should be ordering someone to get drilled soon.

Damn did Dye even try to run? Marquis triple pumped, and then made a shitty throw, and DeRosa flips it to first, and they still turn 2.

dye is a power hitter, didn't see a replay but to your point he might not have run 100% on that, who cares if you are a cubs fan

Pete Wentz is the guest of honor at this game, and that makes me sad.
