Is this a trick question? Who would say no? If you said "a better chance at a Championship," maybe, but for "a Championship" I'd trade the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls future too.

I love the Cubs...but give me a trade that makes sense for BOTH teams. not just the Cubs.

What's the point in winning a championship if there is no future to enjoy it?

Oh, wait, you didn't mean it that way... :oops:

I seriously doubt the Indians will give up Sizemore, but if you can get that deal for CC and Sizemore I would do it.

For goodness sake, the Indians and Orioles would be skewered for such a trade. Especially the Indians. I'd do it, but I highly doubt anyone in charge of anything baseball related would do it.

:lol:

If I could get Roberts and Sabbathia, without Sizemore for the guys mentioned, I would make the deals. Win now! With the money the Cubs make through ticket sales and ad revenue, they can always buy free agents if there is a need in the next few years.

Old saying when it comes to these stupid trades fools like the thread starter make;

You can clean it, shine it, but a turd is still a turd.

The only people who think any Cub Prospects out with the exception of the two not mentioned in the idiot who started this post, the reliefer they drafted, and Vitters, are Cub fans.

Embarrassing

Four guys who have enjoyed minor success at best in the majors -- plus a prospect -- for last year's AL Cy Young winner and arguably the best center fielder in the AL.

That was my first thought too. Those proposals are idiotic.

I think the Sox should trade Adam Russell and Josh Fields for Sabathia. Then they should trade Richar and Matt Thornton for Grady Sizemore.

the Cubs could get good players but fellow Cubs fans, THEY HAVE TO GIVE UP SOMETHING. all those people that got on the Cubs case for getting rid of Dontrelle and Jon Garland...at least they were trying to do something. Those trades got done because the Cubs sacrificed real talent. The Cubs keep their real potential prospects far too long until they're no longer trade worthy. Pie, Veal, C. Patterson, his brother, Murton, etc...give up some of your REAL talent and win now. Having said that, Hendry always makes a big splash, so I'm not all that worried.

He is a highly touted Left Handed Pitcher-Donnie Veal. He is 23 years old and is commonly compared to Dontrell Willis. Hopefully he avoids the control problems Dontrell has been suffering with the last couple of years. Most scouts predict he will be in the bigs this year, in the September call-ups, if not before.

I doubt they'd trade them in the division. Sox might have to part with Ehren Wasserman and/or Charlie Haeger too.

I would trade Frank to a St. Louis Message board for a poster to be named later.
