Yeah. I put on WGN 9 and was wondering what the hell happened. I'm seeing Charlie Sheen's show and it doesn't even say "rain delay".

Why so quick? Obviously the radar says it's not gonna stop raining.

It's believed Rich Harden will start the first game of the stupid day-night doubleheader tomorrow at that ballpark in Atlanta, weather permitting, at "The Ted?" :? Who's the genius who named that ballpark after the guy who once colorized "Casablanca" on his Superstation? That ballpark should've been named after Hank Aaron, friends...

Nothing says Cubs baseball like America's Funniest Home Videos.

Marquis going game one. Harden going game two.

We really need to sweep these 2 games. The Brewers are on a roll again and creeping back up in the standings.

Edmonds has 15 HRs as a Cub. To put that in perspective Lee has 17 and Ramirez has 19.

Edmonds has been a terrific addition. Giving the Cubs a big bat from the left side.

Um, I think game 2 is on channel 666 at 6pm. This isn't good.

Bobby Cox really needs to get over this obsession (perhaps fettish?) with beaning Soriano. Last year's beanings and breaking his hand this year wasn't enough, so now going after the head? Maybe for his next trick, he's gonna send another goon like Renteria to finish last year's job and actually break an infielder's nose?

Class. Try it sometime.

Oh, and uh, Cox is a wife beater if I'm not too much mistaken, correct?

Bobby Cox can't wait for this sorry season to end for the Atlanta Braves! It's my understanding that Tom Glavine starts the last game of this series tomorrow night. At least I've heard of him...Who in the name of Peter Gammons were the two no-names who started this doubleheader for Atlanta? I've never heard of them! Seriously! :?

Meh, Cox is a dick, but if you think throwing at someone is ever justified, throwing at Soriano after he dogged it running when he thought he hit a homer and only ended up with a single is one of those times, especially if you're "old school" like Cox and Ozzie. That was a Fisk/Deion moment for you middle-timers out there. Lou would have probably gone out and thrown at him himself if he could have.

But it's chicken shit to do it with some AAA burnout pitcher that won't be needed (assuming a small suspension is coming) during your loser season anyway! On top of Hudson leading off the game drilling him last year, on top of breaking his hand this year, on top of...... if he's so god damn old-school about stuff, once you've drilled him - you move on! I think "obsession" seems like the right word to me.
Cox is an asshole - and yes, a wife beater. I believe he threw stuff at her and caused injuries. He termed it a "misunderstanding". She probably had it coming, 'cause he's "old school" - what a dumbass excuse for being a coward. Maybe his wife was hot-dogging it on the way to fixing his turkey pot pie? Moving too slow toward the garage fridge to fetch him his beer. "Old school" - what a fucking joke......

I'da thrown at Soriano and I'm a Cubs fan...it's not like he told the pitcher "aim for his head...."

All Atlanta has left are AAA burnout pitchers. Do you want them to trade for Sabathia so they can have someone good hit Soriano? Speaking of obsessions, you seem to have one with Cox. Get it? You're obsessed with Cox! Haha! Feel the grade school burn!

Fukudome has 2 hits tonight, so hopefully he is coming out of his slide.

The Cubs have won several in a row now on the road, a very good sign as we approach September!
