Dave Martinez interested if Cubs call

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Dave Martinez grew up the Cubs' organization and is aware of the Cubs' culture that owner Tom Ricketts would like his next manager to understand.

For now, Martinez's focus is helping Tampa Bay advance through the playoffs as a bench coach, but he said Wednesday he would be interested if the Cubs contacted him about their managerial position.
