I know I can't speak for all Cub fans here, but I think a large majority of Season ticket holders in some of the better seats would be OK with PSL's.

Don't make them fake PSL's like at Soldier Field, but give the Season Ticket holders something like a private entrance, membership to one of the many clubs they are planning (Yes, you still need to pay for drinks), maybe some better bathrooms. People will pay.

Whatever. Sure. I don't care. Fix the team on the field. Whatever field they want to play on. The rest is garbage if the team is shitty.

Sure, I buy 2 seats. 1 for me and 1 for my personal politician!

I want to sit with Danny Davis for all events!

Private Seat License ..........lol....really?

Pay a lump sum fee to buy your seats forever, for every event they have at the facility. With the plans to have concerts, football games, etc it actually is a good deal. You still need to buy your tickets, but you can go to any event at the park.

The PSL could be $10,000 a seat....x 15,000 seats gets you $150,000,000 and thats less than half the seats in Wrigley.

i will likely never own a PSL, but from what i understand, the PSL alone doesnt even get you in the building. it gets you the RIGHT to get in the building. for instance, at the new meadowlands Club Level, the PSL for each SEAT is 20K, PLUS 700 a ticket for each game, for a total of $108,000 the first year for 4 seats and season tickets. The PSL fee is a one-timer, but you still have to pay for the tickets to whatever event you want to attend.

fucking crazy.

The Cubs had better get to the World Series twice during the life of the PSLs to get some money back out of this.
Who is going to give Big Fan $400.00 for 2 seats to the Pirates game in May?

You are assuming that people are still going to have the same interest 5 or 10 years from now?
Baseball is turning into a 4 hour snooze.
This Cubbie hysteria isn't lasting forever.
Peoples lives CHANGE....
You could be stuck with a huge loss.

Don't fool yourself. Baseball still draws huge numbers and that's not changing anytime soon.

It will change when the prices continue to go through the roof.
The damned brokers all over Clark Street and Addison Street aren't going to make up the difference for PSLs when they buy seats from season ticket holders.
37% of the fans attending games at The Shrine are from out of State....Is it THAT important to them to pay $400.00 for a pair to see the Reds or even the Cardinals? Everyone is not Harry Teinowitz who gets chills up and down his spine when a Major League Player waves at him!!!!
Anybody with an ounce of sense is going to buy the damned cheaper tickets.
