I've seen trade Marmol suggested some places.

The Cubs could probably get a nice asking price for him.

Wood was a good closer in 08 for us.

At least see what's out there for Marmol. If it's a pretty package trade him and sign Wood to close.

Show me the last time a closer was traded for a good package of players? It doesn't happen.

Didn't you mention something about how much fun it was at the Sox game? I would consider them as a new option. Soxgirlshamus

No room on our bandwagon for that one...may I suggest becoming a Brewers fan?

It is somewhat of a luxury item to have a guy who could save 50 on a team that wins 75.

Even so, as BF said the return on relievers is not too high.

Bob's amusing, he generally doesn't have insane ideas of what the Sox should do, and he wore a fucking cape.

The saddest thing here is that it is the most offseason activity talk the Cubs have had!
