Aside from Prince, (adrian and Pujols won't be coming) you can keep that list. I would rather see some youth.

1st base is the only position that we don't have someone in the minors for.

I would still take a flyer on Sizemore.

Was wait till next year, last year. I knew it, ownership knew it, etc. my gripe is paying for a null season and the guy who made the mistake(s) is still running the show.

Then when I heard why he is running the show yesterday, that was pretty bad. Basically because Ricketts didnt have time to really evaluate him while he was buying the team.

Juan Pierre will be coming off a World Series Title next off-season, so he might be out of the Ricketts' price range. 8)

And what the fuck was there to "evaluate"? Hendry sucks now and he sucked last year. How about the fact that Ricketts admitted he got calls from "baseball people" who were interested in coming on board? I will guarantee Hendry was kept for financial reasons. No way Ricketts could afford to pay a Pat Gillick-type to come in and clean this mess up.

They could fuck up a 1 car funeral.

And it's definitely "wait till next year". I'm thinking 83 wins and that would be the absolute ceiling for this team. I can already see Hendry drooling over Mclouth.

Ricketts would try and give you a good reason why his foot is up your ass, as a great man once said. While he speaks well and tries to sound sincere the culmination of all the words is nothing! Very Jauron like!

I'll take Ross Gload. Let's correct that mistake we made 10 years ago.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention there's a rumor that Adrian Gonzalez has already signed/agreed-to his extension with Boston, they're just waiting to announce it for awhile so Boston could avoid the/extra Luxury Taxation.

That list is just.... agh, especially the outfield. I'd actually take a flier on David DeJesus, as he'd be a useful cog in a lineup that featured some mashers.
