Certainly does suck now, but does he suck worse than Doug Davis or Rodrigo Lopez? I say sign him and send him to AAA. Could pay off.

Edit: Cut by the Angels today, by the way.

I think he is toast. Lopez and Davis certainly suck however.

Maybe a $5M deal with a no trade clause.

Davis has had looked good in a few starts. He weas off for a whole year,so I would hold on to him. Lopez might be a viable 5th-6th inning guy, better then the young crap they are throwing out there now.

Lopez and Grabow wouldn't be on any other major league roster except the Cubs.

JImmy, you don't keep a veteran with nothing left around to be a mop up guy in the 5th and 6th inning. A young kid can do that for less money, and he gets the experience of throwing in the big leagues. Let's face it, if you are going to the bullpen in the 5th inning (unless there is an injury), odds are you aren't winning the game at that point.

Grabow might be, but not for $5 million a year.
