They kept their K's in the single digits, that's pretty good!

Stroman had 8 strikeouts and still only threw 93 pitches in a complete game shutout.

The last out of the game was highlight-reel worthy. Reminded me of the Ozzie Smith play where he was going one-way and then grabbed the ball barehanded when it bounced the other way (though Smith's was way more difficult).

The Jays took a lot of shit for not making a deal at the deadline but you can see why they didn't want to move these arms for just anyone. With Stroman (23), Sanchez (21), Norris (21) and Hutchison (23) they have the makings of a tremendous starting rotation.

5.2 IP 4 ER 6 H 2 BB. I think a conversation happened at some point between hitters that Hendricks has mediocre college pitcher velocity. It was really a matter of time. RIP Hendricks, may the Cubs be stupid enough to give you a rotation spot next year from which you will be shelled relentlessly.

Once they took EJax out of the rotation things fell apart.

That was a lot of innings no matter how much fans disliked him. They wanted him to be more than what he was.I give Theo credit for knowing what he was.
