Singleton - WTF? Farmio was actually rather decent.

I listened to most of the game on the score last night. Farmio was better than I expected. He actually showed emotion when Thome hit the HR last night. Singleton sounded nervous and was saying a lot of weird stuff.

I was waiting for phone calls during the post game, but Rongey didn't take any.

When Rongey wrapped up the PG show, WSCR ran about 30 consecutive minutes of commercials.

I was driving home from the Cell and didn't have the energy left to both focus on the road AND change the station, so I left it on. I get home, grab a bowl of cereal, turn on the radio and WSCR is still running commercials.

They picked up the SNR feed at about 2:20AM. Granted, I was punchy after a LONG ass game, but I couldn't help thinking that this was the ultimate WSCR WTF moment.

Farmer is WAY too loose with the name dropping. He reminds me of what I hated the most about Cubs announcers the past few years: the actual game takes a backseat to outdated stories of way back when.

at least Singleton gave him some static about it today... I liked the "You've got more connections than AT&T" crack :-)

That definitely made me chuckle.
