Its enough that the SOX are maybe the worst team in the entire history of baseball but I watched the lowlights of their game against the O's which they lost due to umpire misfeasance. It was mind boggling to me who they could have ended this game because of baserunner interference after an infield fly rule was already called on the play and the fucked up call ended the game.

It seems like every week there are examples of awful game decisions made by these umpiring mental midgets. Just yesterday the league apologized again for a blown call ending a game.

I think this is a ploy by the umpires union to deliberately do this before the league changes to an automated umpiring situation including more oversite of field crews and a reflexive legal suit against major league baseball.

It just seems like it is not mere coincidence that about every day there are incidents of really awful mistakes done by these umpiring crews. This just seems to be way out of the normal bad calls by umpires which have happened since baseball was invented. The other possibility is that these assholes are making these calls because a lot of them are betting on the games. Hell, baseball has already proven that it intentionally looks the other say when sports "heroes" make bets on their own sports. Every day when you watch these
sports programs we get bombarded by stupid ads and entire programs for stupid betting on sports.

As long as Reinsdorf is running the team, why would we expect an actual managerial upgrade? Grifol was at least outside of the organization, but it's hard to see them making what would be considered to be an upgrade.

Caller Bob would be an upgrade.

Didn’t Reinsdorf pretty much say he should have been launched last year and didn’t do it. What makes anyone think he will now. I don't know if I blame the players per say. I do not doubt for a second they are giving effort. They are mostly minor league players. The talent just isn't there. The manager is in way over his head. The GM might be in over his head. The owner DGAF. Its the perfect storm for one of the worst MLB teams ever.
