He's still the best CF I've seen in Chicago in years. Better than Rowand and Anderson.

Almora is pretty good. Im not sure where he would rank compared to Rowand and Anderson.

Its always good to throw up a crooked number, but its even better to do it directly after your SP just gave one up himself.

Next best thing is to set the Tigers down 1-2-3 in the bottom half of the inning.

Behind them.

Luis Robert is better than all of them in CF. By far.

this game is unbelievable.

What a fun game.

In a matter of 10 seconds the game turned around from 3-1 to 3-5.

Then the Sox come back and bring in runs as fast as knocking down bowling pins.

If this is the new normal for Sox hitting, they will go far.

Looking forward to it.

Ive heard that about Robert but not sure how quickly you completed the Almora vs Rowand/Anderson analysis. Almora is a really good fielder.

Never heard of this Mazana. Did they just bring him up or somethin?

And back to Roberts' hit, I wonder how many balls at Comerica have ever hit that crooked triangle area so high without actually going out.

Anderson and Almora are pretty similar overall, but anyway, back to this thrilling game!

McCann, the far superior catcher.
Nice game, Mr Jimmy.

It was great to come back after blowing the early lead. Bullpen looks good. Cease came back and pitched well after he seemed to lose focus after the passed ball.

Cease is coming along nicely. He escapes that inning with only 1 run if McCann is ready for the pitch.

I'm not sure if slightly above .500 gets them into the playoffs.

There are a lot of good teams lurking just below while waiting for a streak.

I think .500 gets them in. Cancel Detroit. Cancel Baltimore. Angels look Maddonish. Who does that leave?

Blue Jays and Texas.

They will get better. What no one mentions is that this is pretty much a BRAND NEW TEAM, especially on the field thus far. Think about it. Also, think about the number of new pitchers that were not on the team last year including the guys starting. It takes awhile for a new team to learn about itself and what they can and can't do.

Besides, this shit is just a silly season and doesn't really mean much more than a more fun extended spring training. Next season is where it will really be fun as these kids will have 50-70 games under their belt. We can see the talent and the talent even behind the starting players. I predict that next year the White Sox All-Stars will be plentiful with Moncada, Robert, Jimenez, Giolitto, and Anderson as for sures and potentially Abreu, Kuechel or Cease and Grandal as possibles. In addition, McCann may be an all-star but for another team. :( :(

Let's not forget my guy Dane Dunning. Rodon is going to try and push through his Rotting Shoulder Syndrome, but it isn't going to work. He can't be an off and on pitcher anyway. Only steady work gets him command.
